Mercedes-Benz unveiled the new C-Class yesterday and sets new standards in the premium mid-range class. The new model stands for pure efficiency due to the reduced weight, its excellent aerodynamics and the economical motors. It offers not only a sensual clear design and many technical innovations but also an extensive standard equipment.
Besides the smaller diesel engine with an output of 85 kW or 100 kW (115 or 136 PS), the C-Class comes in several performance variants with an additional four-cylinder diesel engine with 2.2 liters. The performance range of the diesel engines vary beween 85 kW (115 hp) and 150 kW (204 hp). In addition to that the vehicle is also availble with five different four-cylinder petrol engines with an power range between 115 and 175 kW (156-238 hp).
The new C-Class can be ordered now. The price varies from 33 558 € for the C180, 36.414 € for the C200 and 38 675 € for the C220 BlueTEC.
