    From Playboys to Playthings – Suitsupply’s 2016 Spring/Summer Campaign

    13. April 2016

From playboys to playthings – Suitsupply is here with their latest 2016 spring/summer campaign called “Toy Boys”.

Shot by photographer Carli Hermes in South Africa, the campaign features doll-sized men in beautiful suits and acrobatic & suggestive situations with beautiful and larger-than-life women.

Amsterdam menswear brand Suitsupply caused controversy with its campaigns before and and is being accused of being sexist towards women. This is what Suitsupply CEO told BuzzFeed News:

I think our press release and idea about the campaign says a lot. Its called toy boys depicting the men as little dolls together with giant beautiful women that play with the men. Sexism implies inequality, If you want to read any form of sexism in here than it has to be towards the men they obviously do not have the upper hand here.”
