Brabus presents the 700 Coupé with 700HP

    22. December 2015

Brabus have presented a nearly 2.5-ton heavy and 300 km/h fast version of the Mercedes GLE 63 S Coupé at the International Motor Show in Dubai.

The German masterminds at Brabus bring us a new SUV with 700 hp and sports car-like performance to the road. The base GLE Mercedes had to be extensively remodeled for such a performance boost. This rework affects both of the special turbochargers by Brabus with an enlarged compressor unit that generates more boost pressure than the two standard 5.5-liter eight-cylinder engines. The modification brings this heavy supercar from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. Only the electronics will force the SUV to decelerate at a speed of 300 km/h.

The exterior also has been modified with the vehicle being lowered by 35 millimetres. Due to the weight and the need to ensure momentum, Brabus has developed ultra lightweight body components made of carbon which have been used for the new front spoiler lip, the roof spoiler, the diffuser and the aperture for the side air intakes.

You could say that the Brabus 700 Coupe is ready for the racetrack.
