This is the most expensive Wine: Chateau Margaux Balthazar

    12. October 2013

Six bottles of the Chateau Margaux 2009 Balthazars have been produced and only three of them are up for sale through luxury wine merchant Le Clos at Dubai International Airport. The 12-litre bottles feature gold engravings and are housed in an ornate oak case. They are the most expensive bottles of wine to be retailed.

“Chateau Margaux’s history stretches back over 400 years.” says Paul Pontallier, chief winemaker at Chateau Margaux’s vineyard in the Midoc region of France.
“The 2009 vintage is one of the finest we have ever produced, hence why we chose to bottle it in this magnificent format.”

Buying one of the limited bottles at a price of $195,000 means that you will be flown to France for dinner with chief winemaker Paul Pontallier and for a private tour through the cellars and vineyard.
