The future is now: BMW i8 Plug-in Hybrid Sports Car
The future is now. BMW recently unveiled the i8 Plug-In Sports Car. The futuristic 2+2 seater seems to be one of the sports cars of the future. It features a 1.5 liter 3-cylinder twin-turbocharged petrolium engine with 231 HP and an additional electric motor with 129 HP. The combined power of 362 HP ensures enjoyment on the road. The interior matches the drivers needs and features lightweight seats and standard leather trim that extends to parts of the center console, instrument panel and door panels. The new BMW i8 will be available in early 2014 with a starting sticker price of $135,925.
