Porsche is currently planning to expand its Cayenne SUV line-up with a uniquely styled coupé model. According to recent reports, the development of the five-door model is already at an advanced phase. However, a sale is not expected before 2018.
The standard version of the Cayenne has adopted some design elements of the Porsche 911. Now it is assumed that the new coupe model is visually inspired by the 918 Spyder. It is also expected that the model will have the same drive technology and therefore should be offered in a hybrid version with petrol and diesel engines.
