Media mogul and self-made billionaire Rupert Murdoch gets rid of his treasures. Just a few months ago he filed for divorce from his much younger wife, Wendi Deng. Now he sells his 56m (184-foot) megayacht for a price of $29.7 million. The two divisions have probably nothing to do with each other and certainly will not be due to Rupert’s financial straits that he is now selling his superyacht with the name Rosehearty.
The floating dream is one of the 25 largest yachts in the world and built specifically for Rupert Murdoch in 2006 by the Italian shipyard Perini Navi. It features an exclusive interior design by French interior designer Christian Liaigre. His clients include personalities such as Valentino, Karl Lagerfeld and Calvin Klein.
