‘Falcon 5X‘ is the name of the ‘most advanced Falcon jet ever’ by french aircraft manufacturer Dassault. It features a six-foot, six-inch cabin height, a wider cabin than all previous Falcon models with a total length of 25,17m that makes the Falcon 5X capable of accommodating a maximum of 16 passengers. With a maximum range of 5,200 nautical miles (9,360km) the Falcon 5X allows direct flights between e.g. Paris and Beijing or Los Angeles and London. The new Snecma Silvercrest engines make this jet more fuel efficent than comparable jets like the $65 million Gulfstream G650 (by 30%).
The Falcon 5X‘s first flight is expected in the first quater of 2015. The price for a 5X is set at $45 million.
