Chanel x Cruise 2014 Campaign by Karl Lagerfeld

Creative director Karl Lagerfeld captured the models Ashleigh Good, Nadja Bender and Dalianah Arekion for Chanel’s upcoming Cruise 2014 Ad Campaign. As an allusion to Coco Chanel’s rumoured lover Salvador Dali the models are wearing thin moustaches and dark eyebrows. The collection was shot in black and white and based primarily on neutral and dark colors such as black, white, grey and beige and features several nautical references like long cardigans and pearl necklaces and Chanel’s classic white tweed jackets. In addition to that it includes cricket shin pads, monochrome menswear inspired garments, high-waist pants and skirts.
