    Nike Introduces Adaptive Lacing x HyperAdapt 1.0

    Most of us remember Marty McFly’s self-lacing boots from the famous movie Back To The Future. And most of us dreamt about owning such shoes as well. Well, Nike might have heard our prayers. Just recently they introduced ‘HyperAdapt 1.0’. Stepping in the shoe and hitting a sensor with your heel, the shoe’s system will automatically tighten. There are also two buttons on the side letting you adjust how loose or tight you want your laces to be.

    “Innovation at Nike is not about dreaming of tomorrow. It’s about accelerating toward it,” says Tinker Hatfield. “We’re able to anticipate the needs of athletes because we know them better than anybody. Sometimes, we deliver a reality before others have even begun to imagine it.”, says Tinker Hatfield (Designer at Nike).

    The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available only to members of Nike+ though, beginning Holiday 2016 in three colors. Now the only thing we need is a matching hoverboard…
